USY/Kadima

At Congregation Beth Sholom we pride ourselves on being a place for teens and tweens to connect through fun and energetic programming.  We have youth groups for kids in 6^th-8^th grade (Kadima) and 9^th-12^th grade (USY) that offer social, educational, religious, and cultural programming.  Our teens, who come from a variety of backgrounds, are open and welcoming to all!

Kadima

Kadima is a program of USY for middle-school students. Activities include social events, holiday and Israel celebrations, community engagement, and field trips. Participants are also encouraged to attend regional events with Kadima chapters in the area.  

USY

USY is part of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism's Youth movement. USY holds social, religious, Shabbat and holiday celebrations as well as community service and Israel programs. Programs range from chapter-based to larger regional events with USY chapters from other synagogues in the area.  Beth Sholom USYers are encouraged to take leadership positions and use this as an opportunity to grow and develop skills for the future.
