Zionism and a love of Israel are at the heart of Beth Sholom throughout the year. The Ayin L’tzion Committee oversees our ongoing programming, which includes:

• Meaningful Yom Hazikaron and Yom           Ha’atzmaut commemorations
• Israel movie series
• Classes on Zionism and Israeli culture
• Guest speakers
• Hug Ivri, a group that discusses Israeli literature in Hebrew
• Israeli Book Group that reads and discusses modern Israeli literature in translation
• JNF trees are planted in honor of each of our b’nai mitzvah

Congregation Beth Sholom is also at the forefront of communal support for Israel and the Masorti Movement through the Masorti Foundation for Conservative Judaism in Israel and JNF.
