FebFebruary 13 , 2023Challenging Conversations About Israel
Monday, Feb 13th 8:30 PM to 9:45 PM
As religious and political extremism have moved from the fringes to the mainstream in Israel, Diaspora Jews who are involved with and attached to Israel are facing new dilemmas. How do we relate to and talk about the changes that are marginalizing non-Orthodox Jews and undermining basic values that we have shared since the founding of the State? This opt-in group will meet three times (January 9, February 13 and March 13) to discuss and share concerns about these current developments in Israel. If you would like to join, please send an email to erscohen@gmail.com with the subject heading Challenging Conversations. We will listen respectfully to each other’s views and opinions, while we engage in heartfelt debate and discussion. Elaine Shizgal Cohen, EdD, will serve as the moderator of these sessions. -
