In partnership with other Conservative congregations in the US, Beth Sholom will be holding a six-session discussion group on Zoom inspired by The 1619 Project. We will explore themes presented in the book, as well as the HULU series, such as US democracy, race, and healthcare -- including Jewish perspectives and allyship. It’s not too late to join Beth Sholom’s 5-session discussion group on Zoom inspired by the The 1619 Project. Our next session will focus on Capitalism (pp. 166-185) and Traffic (pp. 406-410). -

Each postcard will represent 1,000 people experiencing hunger. The goal: 47,000 postcards delivered to Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins with a simple message: No one deserves to go hungry. No exceptions. -
