Federation is proud to be able to bring in local emergency medical first responders to instruct the free official Stop The Bleed class. Stop The Bleed is a national training campaign to empower each one of us to help in a bleeding emergency.
A direct injury to an artery, by violence or accident, can cause death in only minutes. You will learn the proper use of a tourniquet, applying pressure, and wound packing in addition to other skills. The class runs approximately 90 minutes.This training is a combination of PowerPoint and hands-on practice with the actual equipment.
