MayMay 15 , 2025MiniU - Viktor Frankl: Discovering Meaning in Life's Struggles
Thursday, May 15th 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM
Join us for a fascinating lecture by long-standing CBS member, and emeritus Director of Kean University's Holocaust & Genocide Studies program, Dennis Klein. Frankl was imprisoned in Nazi concentration camps for three years (1942-1945), where he witnessed unimaginable loss, including loss of faith in humanity and the will to live. How did he manage to endure each day and, on postwar reflection, propose endurance for the rest of us of loss, emptiness, and the pressures of modern life? This MiniU will have two lectures: Part I: Frankl's Impossible Circumstances and Part II: Deeper Questions. -
