High Holy Day Programming

Programming for all children ages 3 years -8th grade will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm each day, and it will include a children’s kiddush (downstairs on the lower level) each day from 11:15 - 11:45 with substantial food and snacks to help the kids get through the long day. All food will be dairy or pareve and will not contain nuts.

Signing Children In and Out
We are asking all families with children in 5th grade and below to pre-register for programming for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. On these days, once children are dropped off in the lower level, they will only be released from the care of the staff if a parent or adult family member is present. This will enable the CBS staff to keep track of who is in our care. We will have a drop off and pick up system that is easy and follows the guidelines of Yom Tov.

**Please note that staff will come and retrieve you from your seats in the sanctuary, auditorium, or Curtis Hereld Room, if the need arises.**

For children age 4 and under:
If you would like to stay with your child for Minyan Shalom from 10:30-11:15am, please feel free to do so. Kiddush for this group will be in their classroom directly after Minyan is over. If you would like to leave your child ages 3 and 4 in the care of our staff from 10:00 am - 1::00 pm, you will need to pre-register and sign them in and out on the High Holy Days.

Children in Kindergarten - 5th grade:
Children in this group need to be signed in and signed out between the hours of 10am - 1pm. All children are encouraged to participate in all of the programming, including the children’s kiddush. Your child will need to be signed into children’s programming in order to participate in the kiddush.

Children in 6th -8th grade:
There will be programming for your children as well. While we will not ask you to sign your children in and out of this programming, we do ask that if your child/children choose to participate (and we hope they will), that they remain in the program and do not disrupt others by coming and going during the sessions.
