Mark your calendars for the Beth Sholom Shabbaton on January 30-31, 2009. We are looking for volunteers to lead sessions on a range of topics with a number of classes centering on this year's theme, "Paths to Spirituality," but feel free to suggest a course on a topic you feel passionate about. Sessions are 90 minutes each and you can choose to teach on Friday night or Saturday afternoon. If you are interested, e-mail a brief blurb and session title to shabbaton@cbsteaneck.org . All course descriptions must be received no later than December 1; regrettably, late submissions will not be accepted.
CBS is selling Beautiful Hanukkah candles to support our Children's Programming. The beautiful hand-dipped candles are made with the finest blend of beeswax and paraffin and are great as gifts or to use in your home. You can see them in the display case downstairs; order forms are now available and orders need to be placed through the synagogue office by November 30. If you have any questions, please contact the Synagogue office.
Share the Warmth – Congregation Beth Sholom’s Social Action/Tikkun Olam Committee is participating in the Jersey Cares Coat Drive. Please leave your gently used winter coats in the box in the lobby by December 19. Contact Barbara David at brhined@aol.com for more information.
