Thank you so much for volunteering to house our Kadima guests from all over central and northern New Jersey. We know December 9-10 will be a great weekend because of your help. Please complete the form below to let us know how many guests you can host for Shabbat!
Hosts will have guests at their home for one night (Friday night, Dec. 9). Pick-up will be in the 2-2:30 p.m. range on Dec. 9 so the Kadimaniks can go back to your home, drop off their luggage, and get ready for Shabbat. If the timing is an issue, that’s ok, we will do our best to work with you.
Kadimaniks will walk home Friday night when our program ends for the night (around 10 p.m.) with staff members leading the way; you are welcome to come back to the synagogue to walk them home. They will return Saturday morning around 9 a.m. for Shabbat morning services and will remain at the synagogue until Shabbat ends. Then, you’ll pick them up (by car or by foot) and bring the Kadimaniks back to your home where they will change for the dance and then return to the synagogue with all their belongings, around 8 p.m. If you drive on Shabbat, please indicate that in the appropriate box below, as being a house within walking distance is not a requirement to host!
